Brian has served in many roles since its inception in Canada in 1987. Currently he oversees all operations in both countries and is based in the company’s head office in Burlington, Ontario. After graduating from the University of Toronto, Brian joined a big four accounting firm where he became a Chartered Accountant (now CPA). With another partner he formed a public accounting practice in 1984 which still operates in Canada. Recognizing the need for small business services he helped in growing the Canadian presence of Padgett where he is currently the President. When not working, Brian enjoys golfing, cruising and spending time with family.
Hal Canaan has worked for the company for over 30 years. He is Executive Vice President of Padgett Business Services of Canada since 1998. He was President of Padgett Business Services of Quebec from 1991 to 1998 before Padgett Quebec merged with Padgett Canada. He started the Padgett operation in Quebec overseeing the production of the entire Padgett system in French for the Quebec market. He contributed to major publications in Quebec on numerous occasions. Prior to his association with Padgett, Hal occupied the position of Country Managing Director with NCR Corporation’s International Division. NCR was a leading IT multinational corporation.
